Strange circle of events

Reading the newspaper my jaw must’ve dropped.  Here it is, another article to prove my content, wow!

Benefit from afar?  Does this work for you?  Have you ever had some exciting event happen somewhere far away and have it directly affect what you are writing or influence your life in another way?  Here is an example

1)     StarTribune.  June 25, 2012.  Carry article by Seth Borenstein of Associated Press.  “The USGS claims the Atlantic Ocean is rising at an annual rate three to four times the global average since 1990.  But in Norfolk, Va., where officials are scrambling to fight more frequent flooding, sea levels have jumped 4.8 inches.”

2)    Tuesday evening, July 10th, 2012.  Feature story on PBS NEWSHOUR reflected concern about climate change coming back again to the question.  How is mans influence adding to the severity and frequency of storms?

3)    StarTribune.  July 25, 2012.  Carry article by Seth Borenstein of Associated Press.  “Nearly all of Greenland’s massive ice sheet suddenly started melting a bit this month, a freak event that surprised scientists.  It goes on to mention, ”The ice melt area went from 40 percent of the ice sheet to 97 percent in four days, according to NASA.  NASA scientist Tom Wagner says, “It’s a big signal, the meaning of which we’re going to sort out for years to come.””

Such an answer for me because this is exactly the type of events that my content, IS GOD NR2U?, starts out as my lead character Ted experiences vision.  Then things start to happen, similar to that listed above so that this happens toward the end of chapter one as Ted is speaking about an angelic messenger – He took me to a beach along a coastline, somewhere on the east coast I think.  We stood there for a moment with the water lapping at our feet, then all of a sudden the water rose until it covered up to my back and flooded far inland behind me.

Sure then, and this week report after report on how the drought is ruining the grain crops throughout the middle of the country.  Hmmm, guess what similar event also happens in my content, denying the country and world of this years grain crop?  This is so exciting.  Talk about current events striking close to a story line, what fun and inspiring!

I simply have to find a way to get this to market, ‘cause what happens next will shake your boots off.  Are you ready?

Ah, still enjoy an old hymn now and then. How about you?

‘Strength for today, bright hope for tomorrow…’  Up early this morning with the Lord and my writing…, watching and listening as He speaks, listening to a grand old hymn.  Yes, Lord, great is thy faithfulness.  Do you feel it this morning?  Are you awake in person but also in His Spirit?

Can’t help but praise the Lord as he reveals His Truth through the Word.

Blessed time in writing this early a.m. as cloudy low sky lent a yellow peachy cast to the air, making the east windows glow as if His Presence stood with me.

Have to marvel in times like this as hundreds of words flow as if from a readymade scroll in my mind, ready to be keyed in rhythm to the old hymn of faith.  Special time with the Lord…  Here comes the next hymn.  Amazing grace, how sweet the sound.  Sing it with me, will you?

How ‘bout you this morning?  Lord speakin’ to ya?

What is your testimony?

What is your testimony?  Have you used it recently?  If you’re like me, it sits in the closet getting old and mildewed until wham – surprise, I can speak up about my Jesus.  How about you?

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, sweetest name I know…  Wow, fresh from a wonderful Sunday evening service.  So refreshing to see inspired Christians pop up with testimony in Spirit and in Truth of how they accepted Christ along with a verse or what Jesus is doing for them now.  How about you?  What’s your testimony before the Lord – simple and true, straight from the heart, for the Glory of God?
